Radio Islam International

Radio Islam is a community radio station aiming to promote the values of Islam, dispel the misconceptions existing in South Africa and in the world regarding this religion and to serve the Muslim community with alternative programming in line with their interests and their lives context. In its line-up, it provides news reports and several talk shows where presenters discuss the most relevant issues to the Muslim community and offer informative content about different topics, such as funerals, nikah announcements or recipes during Ramadan. Radio Islam broadcasts from Johannesburg to the Gauteng area using the frequency 1548 AM and to the world via online live streaming. The podcasts of its main shows are also made available daily on its website.
