RMR - Rhodes Music Radio

RMR - Rhodes Music Radio was the first legalised campus-community radio station in South Africa in 1991. The station broadcasts from the campus of the Rhodes University Grahamstown on the frequency 89.7 FM and live streams globally through the internet. RMR caters to university students and young individuals by offering a line-up that combines news reports, entertainment shows, music shows and various talk shows discussing topics such as law, business, sports, current affairs, social issues and lifestyle. Rhodes Music Radio broadcasts in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
