What Is Happening at St. Angela’s Parish and at St. Matthew’s Parish now? As you may have already learned, St. Angela’s Parish in Mattapan and St. Matthew’s Parish in Dorchester will join together to form a new parish of the Archdiocese of Boston in July 2020 – next month. Fr. Garcia Breneville is working tirelessly this month of June with the transition teams from both parishes and the Archdiocese of Boston to make the union of St. Matthew’s Parish and St. Angela’s Parish a great success. It’s no ordinary time! In the mist of our challenging times, and progressive re-opening of our churches after the pandemic; Fr. Breneville prays and speaks often and courageously about the development and actions of this special mission to bring about a new parish that unites us all more than ever and stronger as one church, one flock, and one parish under his leadership, love and cares.
