The WHRO Voice is a radio reading service based in Norfolk Virginia that provides what national radio and TV news coverage can't: the flavor of a community's life that's best represented in the local sections of a newspaper. The service is free and primarily produced for and directd to those individuals residing in southeastern Virginia who are blind, visually impaired or unable to read normal printed material as a result of their handicap.
