Throughout the 1970s, a colorful brand of music was born in the UK: Glam Rock. Flamboyant, androgynous artists appeared including David Bowie, Elton John, Slade, Sweet and many more dominated the English pop charts. America didn't "get" the Glam movement until the 1980s. Stop by for a visit!!
